Celeb offspring often have weddings as extravagant, or more, than their parents, and following the announcement of the engagement of Billy Joel and Christie Brinkley’s daughter Alexa Ray over the holidays, comes news that another celeb kid is planning a walk down the aisle.
Recently, it was revealed that Michael Jordan’s son Jeffrey Jordan, 29, proposed to his girlfriend Radina Aneva in Hawaii in November, but the news stayed relatively quiet until Aneva and Jordan cross-posted a photo of a wedding planning manual on Instagram to kick off the new year.
Her huge engagement ring was visible in the shot – a round-cut sparkler surrounded by a halo of smaller, slightly yellowed diamonds. She captioned it, “Thankful for all the growth, life lessons, success and love I experienced this year. Looking forward to planning the future and starting a family with my best friend. ❤️”
Bulgaria-born Aneva works at 20th Century Fox in Los Angeles. Jordan played college basketball but did not follow his father into the NBA. No wedding plans have been announed. This is the first marriage for Jordan – he is the first of the basketball legend’s three grown children (including Marcus, 27, and 25-year-old Jasmine) with ex-wife Juanita Vanoy to get married.
