The last Roloff is married! Her older brothers Zach and Jeremy Roloff were married, to Tori Patton in 2015 and Audrey Botti in 2014 respectively, but on Saturday, August 5, 2017, it was Molly’s turn. Under the bride’s favourite spot, a grove of 100-year-old oak trees that Molly used to climb as a child, she married Joel Silvius, a reporting analyst, at the Roloff Family Farm in Helvetia, Oregon.
Though Matt and Amy Roloff’s youngest child has taken a step back from the family’s TLC reality series, she practically grew up on camera, and her wedding seems a likely highlight for the series’ upcoming season. The bride wore an off-the-shoulder lace gown accented by an elegant necklace, and carried a bouquet of pink and white flowers accented with lavender, which mom Amy picked herself.
Silvius wore a grey suit and bowtie, and the bridesmaids – including Molly’s sisters-in-law Tori and Audrey (who were also wed at Roloff Farm) – wore pink. During the white-tented reception on the property, Molly shared a first dance with Matt, who also escorted her down the aisle, to Amy Grant’s “Straight Ahead,” and Roloff and Silvius’ first dance as husband and wife was to Ray LaMontagne’s romantic “You Are the Best Thing.”
Before the wedding, mom Amy also planned the guest menu, and Matt had the rustic wedding alter built, as well as wooden benches for guests to sit and watch the intimate ceremony.
Molly, 23, who works as an accountant and lives with her new husband in Spokane, first met Silvius while they both attended Whitworth University in the same Washington state city. They were engaged in December 2016, and released a short, sweet statement to accompany their wedding announcement: “We feel blessed to have been able to celebrate our marriage surrounded by so many people we love.”
In July, she celebrated a bridal shower weekend at Stoller Family Estate winery in Dayton, Oregon.
