Actors Alison Brie and Dave Franco have kept their relationship low-key since they first met in 2012, and their wedding the weekend of March 11-12, 2017 was no exception. It was then that the couple said “I do” in a private ceremony that they had managed to keep secret from most of the world.
Recently, while promoting The LEGO Ninjago Movie, Franco, 31, told Entertaint Tonight of the wedding, “It was great, it was really special. It was intimate, and it was really fun.”
Until (or if) we get any photo evidence from this super-private couple, we’ll have to assume the both looked beautiful, because look at them. Previously, he had revealed the couple kept inching closer to eloping. “We keep kinda paring it down to the point we might elope. It just seems easy, and simple, and nice,” the actor explained in an interview with E!Online. “I don’t need a big wedding. I don’t want a big wedding.”
Brie, 32, has spoken in the past of not feeling “very bridal,” but revealed that she was excited to find someone she loved enough that she wanted to marry him. Still, Franco – younger brother of Oscar-nominated actor James Franco – said of planning the wedding in June 2016, “We’re pretty lax about the whole thing.”
It was the first marriage for both stars. They became engaged in 2015, when he proposed with a round-cut diamond surrounded by a double halo of smaller stones, set in rose gold.
