Former Bachelorette-turned-TV presenter Ali Fedotowsky married boyfriend Kevin Manno, a radio host, on Friday, March 3rd, in an oceanfront wedding in California. The couple’s close friend Mith Niles officiated. Their eight-month-old daughter, Molly, was made a star of the show in her own right when she was pulled down the aisle by her cousin, Lennon, with the adorable duo serving as flower girls.
For her part, Fedotowsky was escorted down the aisle by her father to an instrumental version of the couple’s favourite song – The Lumineers’ “Ho Hey,” as performed by the Golden Coast All Stars. (Manno’s parents, meanwhile, were first down the aisle, walking the couple’s beloved dog, Owen.)
The location was the Mediterranean-style Terranea Resort in Rancho Palos Verdes, overlooking the Pacific Ocean in the California sun. A celeb favourite wedding venue, it has in the past played host to the weddings of rapper Ne-Yo, actor Chad Lowe, and fellow Bachelor-nation reality stars Jason Mesnick and Molly Malaney.
On this day, however, Fedotowsky, 32, and Manno, 33, were the centre of attention in front of their 100 guests, including celebrity friends Kaley Cuoco, Haylie Duff, Lacey Chabert, season 10 Bachelorette Andi Dorfman, and 8 Simple Rules‘ Amy Davidson. They recited self-penned vows that ended on the same line, “I promise to never forget this moment.”
Fedotowsky’s event producer Laila Lewis of Be Inspired PR told Us Weekly, “The vibe was classic and romantic. Ali wanted something that she can look back on 10 years down the road and it’s still elegant.”
To achieve it, the new mom, whose wedding was twice postponed (once when she became pregnant with Molly, and again when a destination wedding in Mexico was scuttled over Zika virus fears) called upon Gather Events‘ Laura Allin and Natasha Coughlin, blogging praise upon them in November at AliLuvs.com, her personal website.
Fedotowsky wore a strapless, Spanish lace gown by Alvina Valenta. The topped the look with a headpiece from Maria Elena. Her bridesmaids, sister Raya Kirby and best friend Stefanie Muñoz, wore goddess-style bridesmaids dresses in shades of grey and pink.
This is the first marriage for both. After vying for the affections of Jake Pavelka on The Bachelor in 2010, Fedotowsky fronted her own season the next year, becoming engaged to Roberto Martinez in Tahiti. The couple didn’t go the distance, however, and Fedotowsky eventually found love with Manno, who proposed in 2015.
The newlyweds are forgoing a honeymoon, settling right into life as Mr. and Mrs. Manno – and they couldn’t be happier. As the bride told Us of her big day, “Throughout my life, I’ve always imagined what my wedding day would be like. Today has been far better than anything I could have dreamt up. Kevin is the one true love of my life, and I feel insanely lucky to call him my husband. I am honored to be Mrs. Manno.”
